This English translation is provided for convenience. In case of any difference, the French version prevails.
These terms apply to overnight stays, meals and rentals at Gîte de la Martinette. Any booking implies acceptance of these terms.
1. Prices
Prices shown are in euros, including VAT. Tourist tax is added: €0.80 per adult per night, paid to the municipality. The prices that apply are those shown at the time of booking.
2. Individual stays
- Booking: online, by phone or by email. Online bookings are confirmed immediately by email.
- Deposit: no deposit is required.
- Cancellation: no cancellation fee. If you can’t come, please let us know as soon as possible, so that someone else can have the place.
- Arrival and departure: arrival from 2 pm, rooms to be vacated by 10 am.
- Linen: duvets and pillows provided. Sheets and towels not provided: kit for €11, free for more than 4 nights in a room.
- Longer stays: more than 4 nights in a room, 10% off.
- Meals: dinner must be booked by 7 pm on the same day at the latest, picnics by 5 pm the day before.
- Pets: dogs are accepted at no extra charge, under their owner’s responsibility.
3. Self-catering groups
- Booking: it becomes firm on signature of the rental contract and receipt of a €500 deposit, with a rental insurance certificate. Signature binds both parties; no termination is possible without written agreement.
- Cancellation by the group:

- Full refund: only if a legal measure prevents the stay (ban on travel between regions, lockdown, ban on gatherings, administrative closure of establishments open to the public). For any other reason, we advise you to take out cancellation insurance.
- Cleaning: done by the group with the equipment provided, or a €450 package.
- Linen: sheet kit for €10 per bed, beds not made up.
- Neighbours: the gîte is in an inhabited hamlet. The group makes sure to keep the noise down, especially at night.
- Damage: a €2,000 security deposit is handed over at the latest on arrival, usually by cheque. It covers damage to the accommodation and furniture and the loss of keys or items. It is returned within one month at most after departure, following inventory and inspection, less any damage.
4. Payment
The balance is paid on site, by bank card, cash, French cheque or chèques-vacances.
5. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to accommodation services provided on a specific date.

7. Applicable law
These terms are governed by French law.
